The name of Wim Bos has been inextricably linked to transport since the company began. Around 1930, Wim Bos junior (second generation) started a modest transport company with just one lorry. It drove each day between Weesp and Utrecht in the Netherlands, and its sole cargo was oil.
In the decades which followed, Bos and sons built the company into a highly respected removal and transport company.
In 1996, Wim Bos (third generation and the current director) started his own company. This has since expanded to become a multi-transport business with destinations throughout Europe. Wim Bos Transport B.V., located since 2000 on the Rijnkade in Weesp, currently has a staff of 20 proud employees, including a fourth generation of the Bos family.
The Bos family has always held to the following principles:
- Make sure you have the best, most reliable staff and equipment
- Treat the clients’ goods with the greatest of care and deliver them to the specified location in the agreed time.
